Certificate of Good Standing Apostille Service

A Certificate of Good Standing, also known as a Certificate of Existence or Certificate of Status, is a document issued by a government agency (usually the Secretary of State or equivalent) that confirms a business entity's legal status, ongoing existence, and compliance with state requirements. This certificate is often required when a business entity is engaging in various transactions, such as entering into contracts, applying for loans, or expanding operations to another jurisdiction.

If you need to present a Certificate of Good Standing in another country, the certificate will need to be notorised by a solicitor in the UK and sent to the Foreign & Commonwealth Office to be apostilled.

First Corporate will provide a full service, ordering the Certificate of Good Standing from Companies House, presenting the document to our associate solicitor to certify and then sending the certified copy to the UK Legalisation Office to apostille.
