Companies House identity verification & registration service

Companies House have introduced a new identity verification process to help deter those wishing to use companies for illegal purposes. Anyone setting up, running, owning or controlling a company in the UK will need to verify their identity to prove they are who they claim to be. If you do not comply with identity verification requirements on time, you’ll be committing an offence. There will be a range of consequences, including a financial penalty. You will not be able to make any filings for your company or start a new company.

We can provide an identity verification service, plus registration at Companies House for £35.00 plus VAT per person.

Once the form below has been completed and submitted, we will proceed with verifying your identity and registering your details with Companies House. Please expect an email from ‘cloud@trustid.co.uk’ asking you to upload a valid identity document. Typically, this will be a passport or a driving licence. Once uploaded, you will be asked to take a selfie, and the software will perform the identity checks.

We will then proceed to the registration stage. Once this is complete, you will receive a unique code from Companies House.
